Just after my 4th Birthday

With my friend Gordon July 2000

He n I get along well :-)

Me with Ian Gillies early 99'

Hello my is name Jake, I’m a Jack Russell canine, 7 years old. I am disabled, was born with a deformed front left leg, I also have diabetes which is managed with diet. These things don't stop me from my favourite activities in back yard.
I can’t dig holes so I have developed an interest in entomology, (I love finding crickets and lizards) and don’t waste my time running around barking. I love meeting people and making new friends (get lots of pats)

I don't like what some cats do to the fauna, killing birds, so I chase them out of the back yard. I have a good supply of things to chew on so I’m not destructive.

I had a near death experience (a real long sleep) due to my disability, I was alone in a cage in a pet shop and all my brothers and sisters had been adopted. It was at the 11th hour when Kay walked into the pet shop… she thinks she adopted me, but it was the other way around. I couldn’t wish for a better companion, she is a people person too.
I am one of her
Blue Roses :-)

Kay had me “fixed” because there was a risk my puppies would be deformed, but what it means is, I don’t have an interest in the girls when they come on heat and I feel ok about that (more time to find crickets and lizards).

Check out my links page, Jack Russell links, pet links etc. In the next few weeks I will be adding more pics and telling you about my other interests .. So come back :-)

Kay bought a house in June 2003, she has made a lot of changes and now I have my own door. Kay made me promise not to go outside barking late at night, so if I am good, she won't lock it on me :-)

I have a great email to share with you favemail

In August 2004, some bad people came to the house late at night when Kay wasn't here, they didn't treat me very well. After that I wasn't happy here so now I live with a friend in Mandurah. It's a great life, I feel loved and I get taken to the estuary each morning, now I am chasing crabs. I still see Kay regularly
