This is what the front looked like when my offer was accepted June 2003

For added privacy/security I installed zincalum gates at the end of the driveway.
The ones that were there are now For Sale.
I removed the Palms (5), sprayed Roundup to rid the front yard of Bindii and other weeds.
After everything looked dead I hired a rotary hoe and ploughed most of it up.
I decided to leave the rocks because it looks more natural for a bush theme
Natives are going in and there will be very little lawn by the time I am finished.

It is now well over half way done, need to plant more natives yet and add a water feature
and a parking area for my car

12 months has flown. Front garden almost finished, verandah construction under way

The gum tree in the front yard has been cut down, the gum tree out the back has been lopped as well, and natives will replace them, it is sad to see them go, termites will miss them too
